Description

Rom and Sophie return from their honeymoon to a daunting challenge. Rom’s return to London requires a dinner at his club with his two fellow spares with whom he attended school. But one has unleashed an Egyptian demon that eats the exposed souls of the drunken while the other has created a new inebriate that not only exposes the soul but gives the taker a view into the spirit world. With Rom himself wounded by the devourer and the death rising as it drives others to death by fright or fatal flight from its terrible presence, Rom and Sophie and their faithful household staff race to subdue this preternatural threat.
